Wireless connection via access points (installation
in a wireless Intranet). It
is possible to install the projector in an existing wireless Intranet
using a wireless connection via access points. A shared key
authentication and WEP (64 or 128 bit) are supported.
1. Perform the following steps to set
the projector. (Please perform steps on PC because they cannot be
performed on the projector itself.)
a. Use a simple wireless
connection to make a wireless connection between PC and the
projector.
b. Specify IP address, subnet mask, MODE (infrastructure mode), SSID
and WEP that are appropriate to your wireless Intranet using Web
browser Control. (For Web browser Control, refer to pages 40 and 42
of the Operating Instruction Network Function Edition (CD-ROM)).
Setting values become valid after a network number for the projector
is switched to [USER].
2. Switch a network number for the
projector to [USER].
3. Ask a wireless Intranet administrator for PC settings. (If you have
already been using a wireless Intranet, no change of setting is required.)
4. Connect PC to a wireless Intranet (access point).
5. Start up "Wireless Manager mobile edition 2.0" to select a network
number [USER].
If you have a wireless LAN environment, which provides an Internet
connection, it is possible to use both a wireless connection and an
Internet connection by installing the projector in the environment.
If you have a wired (Ethernet) Internet connection environment, it is
